Civil Bank reports 14% fall in net profit for Q1 of 2076/77; Annualized EPS at Rs 7.94

Civil Bank Limited (CBL) has published its first quarter report for the FY 2076/77 with 14.11% fall in net profit. The bank’s profit has decreased from Rs 18.50 crore in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2075/76 to Rs 15.89 crore in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2076/77.

The bank’s deposit from customers rises by 2.20% to Rs 42.91 arba whereas loans and advances to customers have also increased by 3.75% to Rs 44.18 arba in the first quarter. The net interest income (core business income) of the bank has also increased by 2.81% to Rs 60.29 crore from Rs 58.64 crore of the corresponding quarter.

The bank’s paid-up capital stands at Rs 8 arba with Rs 1.60 arba as its reserve. The Non-Performing Loan (NPL) has declined slightly to 2.93%.

In the first quarter, the annualized EPS of the bank stands at Rs 7.94. The net worth per share stands at Rs 128.77 and the quarter-end PE ratio stands at 18 times.
