Civil Bank into bilateral agreement with Axis Bank India; to make Remittance service convenient between Nepal and India

Civil Bank Ltd has entered into bilateral agreement with Axis Bank Ltd, Mumbai, India (its Correspondent Agency for INR) to facilitate smooth transfer of funds from India to Nepal and vice versa. The agreement was signed off by Mr. Sujit Shakya, Chief Business Officer, Civil Bank Ltd and Mr. L Sriraman, Senior Vice President & Head GFID (Domestic FI & NBFI) Financial Institutions Group, Axis Bank. photo Axis Bank Ltd is a leading private sector bank in India with more than 2000 branches spread all over India and now money can be remitted through these branches to any account maintained at any of 56 branches of Civil Bank Limited. The agreement is expected to benefit citizens of both sides and especially for Nepalese people needing to send money from India to Nepal.
