Citizens Super 30 Mutual Fund Publishes First NAV Report; How Did Mutual Funds of CBIL Capital Perform in Baisakh?

Citizens Mutual Fund-1 (CMF1), a 7-year closed-end mutual fund scheme has published its monthly report for the month of Baisakh, 2080.

As per the report, a mutual fund has reported a fall in Net Assets Value (NAV) to Rs. 8.78 from Rs. 9.19. The scheme which began with a fund size of Rs. 82 crores have invested Rs. 44.59 crores in the shares of listed companies and Rs. 5.81 crores in non-listed shares. This scheme has invested Rs. 4 crores in fixed return assets, Rs 15.97 crores in debentures, and Rs. 1.14 crores in the bank balance.

It has reported a net loss of Rs. 2.92 crores till Baisakh. The fund had reported a net profit of Rs. 43.18 lakhs in the month before that.

Citizens Mutual Fund-2 (CMF2) is CBIL Capital Limited's second mutual fund scheme and is a 7-year closed-end fund. The scheme has published its NAV report for the month of Baisakh, 2080.

As per the report, the NAV has fallen to Rs. 9.32 till Chaitra’s end which was 9.83 a month ago. The scheme, which began with a fund size of Rs. 56 crores has invested Rs. 35.03 crores in the shares of listed companies and Rs. 3.71 crores in non-listed shares. This scheme has invested Rs 9.84 crore in debentures, and Rs. 3.25 crore in the bank balance.

It has reported a net loss of Rs. 3.12 crores till Baisakh’s end. In the month before that, a net loss was Rs. 56.15 lakhs of this fund.
