Citizens Sadabahar Yojana Becomes Nepal's First Open-Ended Mutual Fund Oversubscribed by 25%; Allotment Completed

Citizens Mutual Fund, promoted by Citizens Bank International Limited and managed by Citizens Capital Limited, successfully launched its first open-ended scheme, "Citizens Sadabahar Yojana", after receiving approval from the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON). The public issuance of units took place from Ashadh 13 to Ashadh 27, 2082, and was met with overwhelming investor interest, receiving applications well beyond the expected amount. The fund became Nepal's first open-ended mutual fund to be oversubscribed by 25%.
The allotment was finalized on Shrawan 15, 2082, during a meeting held at Citizens Capital’s office in Dillibazar, Kathmandu, in the presence of representatives from the fund manager, promoter, CDS & Clearing Ltd., and some investors. The allotment result has been published on the official websites of Citizens Capital Limited and CDSC.
