Citizens Mutual Fund-1 (CMF1) and Citizens Mutual Fund-2 (CMF2) Reports Fall in NAV and Rise in Loss in Baisakh

Citizens Mutual Fund-1 (CMF1), a 7-year closed-end mutual fund scheme has published its monthly report for the month of Baisakh, 2079. The mutual fund is the first mutual fund of CBIL Capital. The scheme is managed by CBIL Capital with Citizens Bank International as the fund sponsor.

As per the report, a mutual fund has reported a fall in Net Assets Value (NAV) to Rs. 9.09 from Rs. 10.05. The scheme which began with a fund size of Rs. 82 crore has invested Rs. 55.89 crores in the shares of listed companies and Rs. 21.7 lakhs in non-listed shares.

This scheme has invested Rs. 3 crore in fixed return assets and has Rs. 5.09 crores in the bank balance.

It has reported a net loss of Rs. 11.56 crores till Baisakh. The fund had reported a net loss of Rs. 10.33 crores in the previous month.

Citizens Mutual Fund-2 (CMF2) is CBIL Capital Limited's second mutual fund scheme and is a 7-year closed-end fund. The recently launched scheme has published its NAV report for the month of Baisakh, 2079. The scheme is managed by CBIL Capital with Citizens Bank International as the fund sponsor.

As per the report, the mutual fund has reported a fall in its Net Assets Value (NAV) to Rs. 10.84 till Baisakh's end from Rs. 11.01 in the month before that. The scheme, which began with a fund size of Rs. 56 crores has invested Rs. 41.42 crore in the shares of listed companies and Rs. 9.58 lakhs in non-listed shares.

This scheme has invested Rs. 6 crore in fixed return assets and has Rs. 5.03 crores in the bank balance.

It has reported a net loss of Rs. 7.55 crores till Baisakh's end. It had reported a net loss of Rs. 6.58 crores in the previous month.
