Citizens Mutual Fund-1 (CMF1) and Citizens Mutual Fund-2 (CMF2) Report Higher NAV and Lower Losses in Kartik

Citizens Mutual Fund-1 (CMF1), a 7-year closed-end mutual fund scheme has published its monthly report for the month of Kartik, 2079. The scheme is managed by CBIL Capital with Citizens International Bank Limited as the fund sponsor.

As per the report, a mutual fund has reported rise in Net Assets Value (NAV) to Rs. 8.96 from Rs. 8.84. The scheme which began with a fund size of Rs. 82 crore has invested Rs. 41.78 crores in the shares of listed companies and Rs. 20.14 lakhs in non-listed shares. This scheme has invested Rs. 10.5 crore in fixed return assets, Rs 15.73 crore in debentures and has Rs. 3.39 crores in the bank balance.

It has reported a net loss of Rs. 1.47 crores till Kartik. The fund had reported a net loss of Rs. 2.5 crores in the month before that.

NAV Report

Citizens Mutual Fund-2 (CMF2) is CBIL Capital Limited's second mutual fund scheme and is a 7-year closed-end fund. The scheme has published its NAV report for the month of Kartik, 2079.

As per the report, the NAV has risen to Rs. 9.77 till Kartik's end which was 9.61 a month ago. The scheme, which began with a fund size of Rs. 56 crores has invested Rs. 30.87 crore in the shares of listed companies and Rs. 4.82 lakhs in non-listed shares. This scheme has invested Rs. 7.5 crore in fixed return assets, Rs 9.97 crore in debentures and has Rs. 4.44 crores in the bank balance.

It has reported a net loss of Rs. 87.71 lakhs till Kartik's end. Whereas, in the month before that a net loss was Rs. 1.74 crores of this fund.
