Citizens Mutual Fund-1 (CMF1) and Citizens Mutual Fund-2 (CMF2) Report Higher Losses in Mangsir

Citizens Mutual Fund-1 (CMF1), a 7-year closed-end mutual fund scheme has published its monthly report for the month of Mangsir, 2078. The mutual fund is the first mutual fund of CBIL Capital. The scheme is managed by CBIL Capital with Citizens Bank International as the fund sponsor.

As per the report, a mutual fund has reported a fall in Net Assets Value (NAV) to Rs 10.12 from Rs 11.19. The scheme which began with a fund size of Rs 82 crore has invested Rs 53.76 crore in the shares of listed companies and Rs 9.75 lakhs in non-listed shares.

This scheme has invested Rs 20.07 crore in fixed return assets and has Rs 8.49 crore in the bank balance.

It has reported a net loss of Rs 9.74 crores till Mangsir. The fund had reported a net loss of Rs. 97.1 lakhs in the previous month.

Citizens Mutual Fund-2 (CMF2) is CBIL Capital Limited's second mutual fund scheme and is a 7-year closed-end fund. The recently launched scheme has published its NAV report for the month of Mangsir, 2077. The scheme is managed by CBIL Capital with Citizens Bank International as the fund sponsor.

As per the report, the mutual fund has reported a fall in its Net Assets Value (NAV) to Rs 11.1 till Mangsir's end from Rs 12.28 in the month before that. The scheme, which began with a fund size of Rs 1 Arba has invested Rs 40.29 crore in the shares of listed companies and Rs 6.7 lakhs in non-listed shares.

This scheme has invested Rs 10.11 crore in fixed return assets and has Rs 11.04 crore in the bank balance.

It has reported a net loss of Rs 6.05 crore till Mangsir's end. It had reported a net loss of Rs 53.10 lakhs in the previous month.
