Citizens Bank introduces Branchless Banking Service in Nuwakot

Citizens Bank International Limited has introduced branchless banking service in Thanapati and Balkumari VDC of Nuwakot district. The bank has introduced this unique and affordable product with the support of Sakchyam Access to Finance Program. Businessmen Suman Thapaliya and Smriti Singh Thakuri have been recruited as the business representative of the branchless banking service. At present the number of branchless banking service of the bank has reached to 89. The branchless banking service has been providing modern banking services like deposit collection, bill payment, account transfer and mobile bill payment. In a press statement, it stated that the branchless banking service is aimed to provide banking and financial literacy in the remote areas of the country.
