Citizens Bank inaugurates 93rd branchless banking service in Laukahi, Sunsari
Citizens Bank International Limited has inaugurated its 93rd Branchless Banking service in Laukahi VDC of Sunsari district.
Subrat Roy, Branch Head of Citizens Bank at Itahari inaugurated the branchless banking service amidst a program. Ashok Kumar Yadav , a local businessman has been selected as a focal person to operate the branchless banking service center .
The branchless banking service has been providing modern banking services like deposit collection, bill payment, account transfer and mobile bill payment.
In a press statement, it stated that the branchless banking service is aimed to provide banking and financial literacy in the remote areas of the country.
