Citizen Investment Trust earns Rs 21.70 crore till Q3; Reserve fund stand at Rs 1.36 arba

Citizen Investment Trust Limited (CIT) has reported net profit of Rs 21.70 crore in the third quarter of the  fiscal year 2072/73. As per the financial highlights of 2072/73 published today, the fund has made investment of Rs 52.71 arba in the Q3 fiscal year 2072/73 down from Rs 59.78 in the previous year report 2071/72. It has Rs 33.86 arba fixed deposits in different banks. CIT has been investing in government bond. Its investment on government bond reaches Rs 30.45 arba in the current fiscal year up from Rs 22.92 crore in the previous year. The fund has a share capital of Rs 45 crore with reserve of Rs 1.36 arba. Its return on investment (ROI) has dwindled to 5.20 percent in the Q3 fiscalyear 72/73 from 7.50 percent in last year report. Meanwhile, its net profit to gross income ratio has surged to 62 percent in this year report from 57.62 percent in previous year report. Citizen Investment Trust earning per share (EPS) stand at Rs 48 and net worth per share is at Rs 264.
