Citizen Investment Trust 21st AGM on Bhadra 16; to endorse 21.85% bonus share

Citizen Investment Trust Limited (CIT) will be holding its 21st Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Bhadra 16, 2074. The meeting will be held at Nepal Tourism Board, Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu at 11 AM. The main agendas of the meeting are:

• To approve 21.85 percent bonus share and 1.15 percent cash dividend for tax purpose from the net profit it earned from the fiscal year 2071/72.
• To elect 1 BOD member from public shareholders group and 1 BOD member from class D representative of Banking and Financial Institution.

Other agendas of the AGM include financial highlights of the FY 2071/72 and appointment of auditor. The book closure day for the AGM has been set on Shrawan 27, 2074 till Bhadra 16, 2074 for the purpose of AGM. Only those shareholders traded shares until Shrawan 26, 2074 are eligible for the bonus share and participation in the AGM. CIT has earned net profit of Rs 6.61 crore in the second quarter of the FY 2073/74. Its last traded price (LTP) stood at Rs 4650 as of today (August 3, 2017). CIT’s price hiked by 16.25% in this week from Rs 4000.
