CIT Proposes 31.5789% Dividend for FY 2077/78; How Much in Bonus Shares and Cash?

Citizen Investment Trust (CIT) has proposed a dividend for the fiscal year 2077/78.
The meeting of the board of directors held on Ashad 11 has decided to distribute 30% bonus shares and a 1.5789% cash dividend (for tax purposes). The bonus shares are worth Rs. 98.10 crores and the cash dividend is worth a little over Rs. 5.16 crores. Thus, the total paid-up capital post this bonus share would be Rs 425 crores. The existing paid-up capital of CIT is Rs 327 crores.
The dividend is subject to approval from the Ministry of Finance, Nepal Government, and the upcoming AGM.
As of writing, CIT has its last trading day's closing at Rs. 2,207.
