Chilime Hydropower to declare dividend within 15 days

In the past years, Chilime Hydropower Company Limited had always declared its dividend before Dashain Festival. Although this year Dashain festival was a month late than other years, Chilime Hydropower is yet to declare the dividend. Narayan Prashad Acharya, Company Secretary of Chilime Hydropower said, “ The dividend of the Chilime will be declared within 15 days. Due to the fuel shortage, the BoD meeting has not been able to convene. So, there is delay in announcing dividend. ” ShareSansar queried Mr. Acharya about the rumors regading the dividend of Chilime ranging from 10% to 50% in the market. There is no way to speculate on the percentage of dividend from Chilime Hydropower until the BOD meeting happens, added Mr. Acharya.
