Chilime Hydropower proposes 20% dividend; Paid up to reach Rs 3.44 arba

Chilime Hydropower Company Limited (CHCL) has decided to distribute 10 percent stock and 10 percent cash dividend to its shareholders. As per the notice published in NEPSE today, the 327^th BOD meeting held today has proposed 10 percent stock and 10 percent cash dividend including for tax purpose to its shareholders from the net profit it earned in the last fiscal year 2072/73. The decision is subjected to approval from concerned authorities and the Hydropower Company’s upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM). CHCL had distributed 15 percent stock and 12 percent cash dividend to its shareholders from the profit it made in the FY 71/72. CHCL has earned net profit of Rs 30.73 crore in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2073/74 as per unaudited report. It’s paid up capital stands at Rs 3.13 arba. After adjustment of 10 bonus share, its paid up capital will reach to Rs 3.44 arba.
