Chhimek Laghubitta to approve 40% stock & 12.70% cash dividend; 15th AGM today

Chhimek Laghubitta Bikas Bank Limited (CBBL) is convening its 15^th Annual General Meeting (AGM) today (Poush 13, 2073). The AGM is being held at Hotel Samana Pvt. Ltd, Makwanpur, Hetauda at 10: 30 AM. Main agendas of the AGM are:

• To endorse 40% bonus share and 12.70% cash dividend including for tax purpose to its shareholders from the profit it earned in the last fiscal year 2072/73.
• To change its promoter- Public shareholders structure to 51:49.
• After issuance of bonus share to increase its paid up and issued capital.
• To amend Article of Association and memorandum of association as per directed by registrar officer or Nepal Rastra Bank.

Other main agendas of the AGM include financial highlights of 2072/73, appointment of auditor and election of 2 BOD members from public shareholders group. Only those shares registered one trading day ahead of the book closure date, i.e Mangsir 23, 2073 were entitled to the dividend of the company. The register of their shareholders was closed from Mangsir 26, 2073 till Poush 13, 2073 for the purpose of its AGM. CBBL had earned net profit of Rs 12.66 crore in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2073/74 as per unaudited report. It’s paid up capital remains at Rs 59.57 crore. After issuance of 40 percent bonus share, the paid up capital will reach Rs 83.39 crore.
