It Demonstrates Automobile Brands’ Attractive Value

J.D. Power is well-known for its "independence and impartiality," carrying high credibility in the industry. Since entering the Chinese market, J.D. Power has consistently released authoritative research reports, influencing the Chinese auto industry significantly. In its 21st consecutive year, J.D. Power's APEAL study evaluated 35,155 traditional fuel vehicle owners who purchased new cars between June 2022 and March 2023. This comprehensive report covers 230 models from 48 brands and was collected across 81 major Chinese cities from December 2022 to May 2023.

In 2023, China's fuel vehicle industry reached an all-time high with an overall attractiveness index of 738 points, an 8-point improvement from the previous year. This underscores the growing importance of product appeal in consumers' car purchasing decisions. Product design, in particular, played a significant role, influencing 37% of replacement buyers and 33% of first-time buyers.

Chery's Tiggo family, with global sales exceeding 3.4 million units, has emerged as a force in the global SUV market segment. These models, representing power, popularity, and global competitiveness, secured the top spots in the 2023 APEAL study, winning the titles of No. 1 mid-sized economical SUV and No. 1 mid-sized SUV due to their all-encompassing excellence.

In 2023, the charm index of traditional fuel SUVs increased by 6 points, highlighting the correlation between product appeal and word-of-mouth recommendations. For instance, the Tiggo 7 series boasts the Chery Kunpeng power, a 1.6T engine with remarkable performance and fuel efficiency.

Notable features include a sharp blade front grille, double L-shaped chrome- plated strips in the headlights, and an integrated light source for the beams. The interior, designed with simplicity and elegance, offers red and black seats, a PM3.0 air filter, and a negative ion purification system, enhancing comfort for young consumers.

The Tiggo 8 series, labeled a "Champion" product, has gained attention globally, selling well in 39 countries across Europe, South America, and Africa. Its outstanding performance is evident, with sales of 117,800 units from January to July this year, helping Chery Group exceed 150,000 monthly sales. Equipped with Kunpeng Power 1.6TGDI, the Tiggo 8 offers comparable power to luxury brands.

In terms of design, the Tiggo 8 series features a distinct body with silver plaques around the windows, enhancing its appeal. The interior boasts a leather steering wheel, imitation leather seats, advanced displays, and connectivity features, making it a compelling choice for consumers.
