Check the performance of Laxmi Value Fund-1 and Laxmi Equity Fund for the month of Poush

Laxmi Value Fund-1 (LVF1), a closed end 5 years mutual fund scheme managed by Laxmi Capital Market Limited, has reported Rs 10.89 NAV for the month of Poush while it was Rs 10.53 for the previous month.
The scheme, which began with a fund size of Rs 50 crore, has invested Rs 31.11 crore in the shares of 35 listed companies.
Out of its total investment in listed shares, Laxmi Value Fund-1 has bought 40,319 units of shares of Promoter shares of the Nabil Bank Limited worth Rs 2.90 crore.
Mutual fund has set aside Rs 5 crore as fixed deposit and Rs 18.63 crore as bank balance. It has reported net loss of Rs 9.84 crore till Poush which was Rs 11.65 crore in the last month.
Similarly, Laxmi Equity Fund (LEMF), a close-end 7 years equity oriented mutual fund scheme also managed by Laxmi Capital Market Limited, has reported Rs 8.72 as its NAV for the month of Poush which has increased from Rs 8.27 in the previous month.
The scheme, which began with a fund size of Rs 1.25 arba has invested Rs 71.15 crore in listed shares of 66 different companies.
The scheme has invested in 16.32 lakh unit shares of 66 listed companies as of Poush end.
Out of its total investment in listed shares, Laxmi Equity Fund has made highest investment in 31,896 units of shares of Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) worth Rs 3.52 crore.
It has reported net loss of Rs 20.90 crore till Poush which was Rs 26.55 crore in the previous month.
