Check the performance of Laxmi Value Fund-1 and Laxmi Equity Fund for the month of Magh

Laxmi Value Fund-1 (LVF1), a closed-end 5 years mutual fund scheme managed by Laxmi Capital Market Limited, has reported Rs 10.71 NAV for the month of Magh while it was Rs 10.89 for the previous month.
The scheme, which began with a fund size of Rs 50 crore, has invested Rs 31.47 crore in the shares of 36 listed companies.
Out of its total investment in listed shares, Laxmi Value Fund-1 has bought 40,319 units Promoter shares of the Nabil Bank Limited worth Rs 2.94 crore.
Mutual fund has Rs 5 crore as fixed deposit and Rs 16.57 crore as bank balance. It has reported net loss of Rs 10.74 crore till Magh which was Rs 9.84 crore till the end of Poush month.
Similarly, Laxmi Equity Fund (LEMF), a closed-end 7 years equity oriented mutual fund scheme also managed by Laxmi Capital Market Limited, has reported Rs 8.55 as its NAV for the month of Magh which has decreased from Rs 8.72 in the previous month.
The scheme, which began with a fund size of Rs 1.25 arba has invested Rs 79.65 crore in listed shares of 68 different companies.
The scheme has invested in 19.54 lakh unit shares of 66 listed companies as of Magh end.
Out of its total investment in listed shares, Laxmi Equity Fund has made highest investment in 47,476 units shares of Nepal Telecom (NTC) worth Rs 3.32 crore.
It has reported net loss of Rs 23.06 crore till Magh which was Rs 20.90 crore in the previous month.
