Century commercial bank first to establish regional head office; Inaugurates regional office at Gandaki province along with 8 new branches

The monetary policy of 2075/76 had directed the commercial banks to establish regional head offices at each provinces. Pursuant to the same, Century commercial bank has become the first to start operation of regional head office at Gandaki province. Along with that, the bank has also inaugurated 8 new branches in the same province at following locations:

Bagar, Pokhara

Birauta, Pokhara

Talchowk, Lekhnath

Dulegauda, Tanahun

Bhimaad

Kushma

Baglung

Beni

The inauguration ceremony was officiated by Mr. Kiran Gurung from Ministry of economic affairs and planning of Gandaki Province along with the chairman of the bank Mr. Rajesh Kumar Shrestha. The program was attended by various dignified personalities of the bank, says the press statement.

So with these establishments, the bank now possesses a network of 12 branches and 6 extension counters inside the valley and 91 branches, 2 extension counters and 10 branchless banking units outside the valley. The total deposit of the bank stood at Rs 61.32 arba for the last fiscal year along with a lending portfolio of Rs 55 arba.
