Century Capital Market formally inaugurated with second AGM

Century Capital Market has been formally inaugurated by Dr. Rewat Bahadur Karki, chairman of SEBON, on Baisakh 06, 2076. The capital is 31st merchant bank of Nepal and addressing the same, Mr. Karki highlighted on the competition, challenges, availability of trained employees and market research and advised the capital to take it as an opportunity and work towards it.
Similarly, the CEO of bank Mr. Tulsi Ram Gautam and chairman of Merchant Bank Association, Mr. Dhurba Timilsina also expressed their words along with good luck.
On the same date, the capital also completed its second AGM. The current services of Century Capital Markets are:
- Management of Public offers
- Securities underwriting
- Portfolio Management
- Register to securities/shares
- Depository Participants
The capital had received approval from SEBON on Falgun 02, 2075. It's authorized capital stands at RS 30 crore, the issued capital stands at Rs 25 crore and the current paid-up capital stands at Rs 20 crore. Likewise, from the total capital 85.75% is from institutional investors, while 14.25% is from individual investors.
