Century Bank introduces new saving account at Rs 5

Century Commercial Bank has introduced new saving account service from Bhadra 12, 2073. Any customer can open saving account at Rs 5 with 3% interest per annum. The bank has offered debit card at Rs 350 and deposit security insurance of up to Rs 2 lakh. As per the press release, the bank has deposit collection of Rs. 28.97 arba and has disbursed loans and advances of Rs. 25.08 arba till Ashad end of FY 2072/73.Likewise the bank’s operating profit reached to Rs 56.18 crore and earned net profit of Rs 38.26 crore. At present the bank is rendering services through 31 branches, 29 ATM counters, 8 branchless banking outlets and 3 extension counter.
