CDS and Clearing Ltd. successfully conducts its 6th AGM

CDS and Clearing Limited has successfully conducted its 6th Annual General Meeting on Poush 24, 2073. The AGM endorsed financial statements of the FY 2072/73 and other agendas proposed by the BOD. Issuing a press statement, the company said that it had dematerialized shares of 213 companies till FY 2072/73. It provided depository participation license to 13 additional companies in FY 2072/73, taking the total number of companies that provide DP services to 60. Depository participants have been able to provide central depository services in 60 districts all over Nepal by the end of FY 2072/73. Similarly, there has been a 769.86% increase in number of demat accounts opened, taking the total number of demat accounts opened to 3.51 lakhs. 90.77 crores units shares were also dematerialized in FY 2072/73, reporting a massive increase of 3942.98% compared to the FY 2071/72. IMG_2292 CDS and Clearing Limited earned a net profit of Rs 4.99 crore in the FY 2072/73 compared to the net loss of Rs. 9.04 crore in the FY 2071/72, added the statement.
