Catching up with Gold, silver and foreign currencies

Gold and Silver The Gold price in today’s market has increased by Rs 49,750 per tola. The price is constant with yesterday’s price. This week’s market opened on Sunday with gold price fixed at Rs 49,900 per tola. Likewise, in today’s market the price of silver has reached to Rs 675 per tola. The price fell by Rs 5 per tola as compared to yesterday’s price. The price of silver remained at Rs 690 on Sunday. In the global market, the price of gold remained at $ 1106.60 per ounce at 4.40 EDT. Foreign Currency As of today, a unit of US dollar and a unit of Euro fetched Rs 106.48 and Rs 120.70 respectively against Nepali rupees. The reference exchange rate is determined by Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB). However, under free market, the exchange rate fixed by individual bank and financial institutions may differ from NRB.
