CAAN Allocates Budget of NPR 36.5 Billion for FY 2080/81

The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has announced its budget for the current financial year, FY 2080/81, with a total allocation of NPR 36.5 billion. In detail:
The authority has set a budget of NPR 36,066,464,000 for the fiscal year, anticipating that it will receive equivalent resources during the same period, ensuring a balanced budget.
Estimated total expenditure for the year is NPR 36,662,000,000, with a projected net savings of NPR 620,000. The authority plans to utilize the previous year's deposit balance and bank balance as sources of funding for the current fiscal year.
Revenue generation is a key focus, with the authority aiming to earn NPR 15,088,250,000 over the course of the year. Additionally, it anticipates receiving NPR 6.64 billion in the form of loans and share investments.
Capital expenditure takes up a significant portion of the budget, with NPR 19,388,000,000 earmarked for this purpose. Staff expenses are estimated at NPR 2,117,000,000, while operating expenses are projected to reach NPR 4.34 billion.
The budget also allocates NPR 5,890,000 for employee bonuses.
