Buyers dominated market facilitated NEPSE to gain 2.63% or 33.27 points with impressive Rs 92.78 crore turnover

The market today gained double digit points to close near to 1300 levels. NEPSE Index posted gain of 2.63% or 33.27 points, closing at a high of 1298.73 points today. The turnover amount stood at Rs.92.78 crore achieved through trade of 2,731,498 units of shares traded through 17,384 transactions trading scrips of 176 listed companies in the process.

In the first trading hour, NEPSE was seen in red, where it fell upto 5.5 points to test 1259.94 levels, wherein, soon after that it started gaining positive momentum to close at intraday high levels at 3 PM.  

Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) posted the highest turnover of Rs.14.53 Core with LTP at Rs.440 per share, followed by Nepal Life Insurance Company (NLIC) with turnover of Rs.7.80 Crore. Prabhu Bank Limited Promoter Share (PRVUPO) stood ahead in terms of volume with trade of 3,67,000 units of shares. The LTP of the stock stood at Rs.132 per share. In terms of number of transactions NRIC stood ahead with 7466 times. 

5 companies hit 10% positive circuit which are Global IME Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (GILB), Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC), Suryodaya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (SLBS), Grameen Bikas Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (GBLBS) and United Insurance Co. (Nepal) Ltd. (UIC). Whereas, only Radhi Bidyut Company Ltd (RADHI) went down by 10% which lost 18 points to close at Rs 164 per share.  

Sensitive Index gained 6.3 points and closed at 275.88 points while Float Index gained 2.14 points and closed at 91.08 points.

In context of the individual sector indices, other than the Mutual Fund, all 11 sectors closed at green today. Hotels, Non Life Insurance, Others and Microfinance sectors gained most by 5.51%, 4.98%, 4.26%, and 4.03% respectively.
