Butwal Power Company expresses condolence towards demise of its founding engineer Late Odd Hoftun

Butwal Power Company has expressed its condolences for the demise of its founding engineer Late Odd Hoftun on Chaitra 1, 2079.

Under his leadership, the Butwal Power Company was formed initially to work for the human and financial resource needed to carry out the hydropower development of Nepal which later went on to generating hydropower from a number of projects. He had later received notable accolades from then King of Nepal for his valuable contribution to the nation's hydropower sector, as per the media statement.
