Butwal Power Company declares 20% cash dividend; Book Closure on Mangsir 16

Butwal Power Company Limited (BPCL) has decided to distribute 20 percent cash dividend to its shareholders. The 292^ndBOD Meeting of the company held on Mangsir 06 has proposed 20 percent cash dividend to its shareholders from the net profit it earned in the last fiscal year 2071/72. The decision is subject to approval upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) of BPCL. Butwal Power Company has also informed NEPSE that register of their shareholders will remain close from Mangsir 16 till Poush 5, 2072 for the purpose of its upcoming 23rd Annual General Meeting which is going to be held onPoush 5. Only those shareholders owning shares till Mangsir 15 will be entitled to the cash dividend of the company. Earlier in the fiscal year 2070/71, Butwal Power Company had distributed 15percent cash dividend to their shareholders BPCL has earned net profit of Rs 5.30 crore in the first quarter of current fiscal year 2072/73 unaudited report. It’s paid up capital remains at Rs 1.67 arba .
