Butwal Power Company convenes its 27th AGM; clears way for handsome 28% dividend

Butwal Power Company has convened its 27^th AGM on Poush 24, 2076 under the leadership of company’s chairman Mr. Padma Jyoti. Endorsing all the financial reports, the AGM has also endorsed the proposal to provide 28% dividend that includes 18% cash dividend and 10% bonus shares to the shareholders.

The AGM has provided a clear direction for the upcoming development of three hydro projects in Marsyangdi river basin under a joint venture with Chinese investors. Under this project, the company will construct 135 MW Manang Marsyangdi Hydro Project, 139 MW Lower Manang Marsyangdi Hydro Project and 327 MW Upper Marsyangdi II Hydro Project where the company will have 20% stake with remaining 80% stake of the Chinese partners.
