Breaking Records: Nepal's Gold Market Hits All-Time High

Continuously, the gold market in Nepal has experienced an unprecedented surge, reaching a new all-time high on April 1, 2024.

The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders' Association reported an impressive single-day increase of Rs. 1,600, driving the price of fine gold to an exceptional rate of Rs. 1,31,600 per tola, up from its previous rate of Rs. 1,30,000.

Similarly, Tejabi gold, another highly sought-after variant, has seen a significant rise, now valued at Rs. 1,30,950 per tola, marking a consecutive increase of Rs. 1,550 from its previous rate of Rs. 1,29,400.

On March 29, 2024, fine gold reached an unprecedented peak at Rs. 1,30,000 per tola, marking a historic milestone.

In line with this trend, the price of silver has also surged. Currently priced at Rs. 1,535 per tola, silver saw a Rs. 10 increase from the previous day's rate of Rs. 1,525 per tola.

While the domestic market is observing an upward trend in prices, the international market is equally influential. As of the latest update, the current gold rate stands at $2,261.00 per ounce. Internationally, silver is also experiencing positive momentum, with prices reaching $25.17 per ounce.
