Breaking Records: Gold And Silver Reaches All-Time High
Gold prices in Nepal have climbed to a new historic high in the domestic market.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold surged by Rs. 900 per tola on Wednesday, reaching a record Rs. 268,100 per tola.
This marks a significant rise from the previous day’s price of Rs. 267,200 per tola and exceeds the earlier peak recorded on December 23, 2025.
Likewise, Tejabi gold witnessed a notable increase, rising to Rs. 267,400 per tola from Rs. 266,500 per tola a day earlier.
Silver prices also moved upward, gaining Rs. 165 per tola to settle at Rs. 4,420 per tola, the highest level recorded to date, up from Rs. 4,255 per tola previously.
