Breaking Records: Gold and Silver Prices Soar to All-Time Highs

Gold and silver prices in Nepal have hit new record highs, extending the strong upward momentum seen in the domestic bullion market.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold jumped by Rs 4,200 per tola on Monday, reaching a fresh all-time high of Rs 282,000 per tola.

The surge reached its peak on January 14, 2026, with fine gold reaching an all-time high of Rs. 278,000 per tola.

Tejabi gold also saw a notable increase, rising by Rs 4,200 per tola to Rs 281,300, up from the previous rate of Rs 277,100 per tola.

Silver mirrored the bullish trend, gaining Rs 185 per tola to settle at a new record of Rs 5,810 per tola, compared to its earlier price of Rs 5,625 per tola.
