Bottlers Nepal (Terai) shareholders to get Rs 25 per share dividend; Book closure on Mangsir 26

Bottlers Nepal (Terai) Limited has announced dividend of Rs. 25 per share on equity shares of Rs. 100 each to its shareholders. As per the notice published in Nepal Stock Exchange, the BOD meeting held on Mangsir 12, 2073 proposed cash dividend of Rs 25 per share to its shareholders from the net profit it earned in the last fiscal year 2072/73. The decision is subjected to approval from company’s upcoming 30th Annual General Meeting (AGM) and its concerned authorities. The same meeting has decided to close the register of their shareholders from Mangsir 26, 2073 till Poush 11, 2073 for the purpose of holding 30th Annual General Meeting of the company. Last year too, the company had distributed Rs 25 per share cash dividend to its shareholders from the net profit earned in the fiscal year 2071/72. Bottlers Nepal is the only bottler company of Coca-Cola products in Nepal. It has two bottling plants namely Kathmandu (Bottlers Nepal Limited – BNL) and Bharatpur (Bottlers Nepal (Terai) Limited. The company has also informed that the Senior Management Mr. Anand Ratnaparkhi has left the company from the date November 10, 2016. Bottlers Nepal holds 90.78 percent and the remaining 9.22 percent shares of general public. The last traded price of the company stands at Rs 4,500 as of November 24, 2016 in NEPSE.
