Bottlers Nepal honored as “Best-Presented Annual Report Award 2016” by ICAN

Bottlers Nepal Limited, authorized bottler of the Coca-Cola Company has been awarded as 1^st runner up title for “Best-Presented Annual Report Award 2016” by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN) in the General sector for excellence in the presentation of its annual report 2016. The award was presented by the Honorable Finance Minister, Mr. Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, on July 17, 2017; at the prominent event held by ICAN at Soaltee Crowne Plaza. Prior to this, last year, Bottlers Nepal Limited had successfully attained the 2nd Runner up title for the same category. “It is a great honor for us to receive such prestigious recognition for our work. We shall continuously adhere to the highest corporate governance practices and standards to deliver the best results for our stakeholders,” said Puneet Varshney, Managing Director of Bottlers Nepal Limited. In recent years; Bottlers Nepal Limited, the authorized bottler of the Coca-Cola Company has gained various recognitions for its persistent display of commitment towards maintaining the trust of its stakeholders in Nepal. The Company secured the first position amongst all SAARC entries in the manufacturing sector for the “Best Presented Annual Report and the award for Corporate Governance Disclosures, 2015”. The award was presented by SAFA (South Asian Federation of Accountants) for improvement in transparency, accountability and governance.  ICAN was established in order to enhance social recognition and faith of people at large in the accounting profession by raising public awareness towards the importance of accounting profession as well as towards economic and social responsibility of the accountants, and to contribute towards economic development of the country.
