Boosting Trade & Tourism: Himalaya Airlines Introduces Shenzhen Route
Himalaya Airlines is officially launching a new direct route connecting Kathmandu with Shenzhen, China's prominent economic and technological center. Regular services on this new route will commence on June 4.
The carrier will operate two weekly flights connecting Tribhuvan International Airport with Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport, creating a vital bridge to one of China's most important economic cities. Flights departing from Kathmandu to Shenzhen are scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays, while the return flights from Shenzhen to Kathmandu will operate on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Himalaya Airlines Vice Chair Bijay Shrestha stated that "the new direct connection between Kathmandu and Shenzhen will help expand both tourism and trade activities between the two countries". This strategic route is expected to significantly strengthen bilateral economic ties and provide a seamless travel experience for passengers moving between Nepal and the major Chinese tech hub.
