Book Closure for AGM of Standard Chartered Bank on Poush 16; appointed Jitender Arora as chairman

Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited (SCB) has published book closure date.
As per the notice published in NEPSE today, SCB has set book closure date from Poush 16 to Poush 26, 2074. But only those shareholders owning their shares till Poush 15, 2074 i.e. one day ahead of the book closure date are eligible to participate in the AGM and proposed dividend.
SCB had announced 100% bonus shares and 5.26% cash dividend (for tax purpose) from the net profit it had earned in the FY 2073/74.
Its paid up capital will reach to Rs 8 arba from existing Rs 4 arba.
Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited (SCB) will be convening 31st Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Poush 26, 2074. The AGM is going to be held at Army Officers Club at 1:00 PM.
Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Ltd. has also informed NEPSE that the BOD meeting of the company held on December 8, 2017 has appointed Mr. Jitender Arora as the chairman of the company effective from December 8, 2017.
It had earned Rs 48.25 crore in the first quarter of FY 2074/75.
Its LTP stood at Rs 2,086 as of last trading day.
