Book closure for 21st AGM of Citizens Investment Trust on Shrawan 27; to endorse 21.85% bonus shares

Citizens Investment Trust (CIT) has set book closure date for its upcoming 21^st AGM. As per the notice published in NEPSE today, CIT has decided to close the register of their shareholders from Shrawan 27, 2074 till Bhadra 16, 2074 for the purpose of endorsing 21.85% bonus shares and 1.15% cash dividends for tax purpose to its shareholders from the profit it has earned in the FY 2071/72 and its 21^st AGM which is going to be held on Bhadra 16, 2074. Only those shareholders having shares traded ahead of the book closure date will be eligible for the bonus shares. Thus, shareholders holding their shares till Shrawan 26, 2074 i.e. one day ahead of the book closure date are entitled for the bonus shares. CIT had provided 35% bonus shares to its shareholders from the profit it had earned in the fiscal year 2070/71. CIT has earned net profit of Rs 6.61 crore in the second quarter of the FY 2073/74. Its paid up capital stands at Rs 60.75 crore and after 21.85% bonus shares, it will reach Rs 74.02 crore. Its last traded price (LTP) stood at Rs 4650 as of today (August 3, 2017). CIT’s price hiked by 16.25% in this week from Rs 4000.
