Bonus Shares of These Two Companies Now Deposited to Demat Accounts

NLG Insurance Company Limited (NLG) has distributed 10% bonus shares directly to Demat accounts of its shareholders.

The company's latest AGM endorsed the dividend for the fiscal year 2077/78: 10% bonus shares and 0.5263% cash dividend. The bonus shares are worth Rs. 12.06 crores and the cash dividend is worth Rs. 63.47 lakhs. This is the company's first-ever dividend after being listed in NEPSE.

Similarly, Nepal Re-Insurance Company Limited (NRIC) has distributed a 16.5% bonus share to Demat accounts of its shareholders.

Nepal Re-Insurance Company convened its 6th AGM for the FY 2077-78. Apart from the regular financial reports, the meeting of the board of directors held on Ashad 07 had decided to distribute 16.5% bonus shares and 2.5% cash dividend for the fiscal year 2076/77. The same bonus shares are now deposited to Demat accounts. Note that these shares are listed in NEPSE.

Additionally, both the companies have urged their shareholders to dematerialize their shares in order to receive the dividend.
