Bonus Shares and Cash Dividend of These Companies Now Distributed

Sadhana Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SDLBSL) has distributed 25% bonus share directly to Demat accounts.

Sadhana Laghubitta convened its 5th AGM for the FY 2077-78 on Kartik 13, 2078. Apart from the regular financial reports, the AGM endorsed the board’s proposal to provide 25% bonus shares and 1.32% cash dividend to its shareholders for the fiscal year 2077/78.

This equates to 6,42,451 shares. The same bonus shares are now deposited to Demat accounts of eligible shareholders. Kartik 03 was the book closure date. Thus, shareholders maintained before that day are entitled to the dividend payout.

Note that these bonus shares are already listed in NEPSE. As of writing, SDLBSL has an LTP of Rs. 1,327.

Chilime Hydropower Company Limited (CHCL) has distributed 7.5% cash dividend directly to bank accounts.

The 392nd meeting of the board of directors held on Mangsir 24 proposed a 15% dividend for the fiscal year 2077/78: 7.5% as bonus shares and 7.5% in cash dividends. The company's paid-up capital before dividend distribution was Rs. 6.28 arba.

The same cash dividend is now deposited to bank accounts. Poush 15 was the book closure date. Thus, shareholders maintained before that day are entitled to the dividend payout.

For those who have not dematerialized their shares, the dividend of the companies will be distributed only after they complete the necessary procedure. Furthermore, investors who have taken margin loans against the shares of the companies are required to present a No Objection Letter or a Release Letter, depending on when they took the loan.
