Bear creates panic in NEPSE ; Market down by 27.63 points

Nepse Index plunges by 27.63 points with turnover of Rs 68.73 crore; Insurance sector plunges by 158.86 points The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) went down by 27.63 points or 1.60% to close at 1696.86 points. Nepse Index opened at 1724.64 points and was seen in downward trend from the first trading hour. 164,608 unit share of Vibor Society Development Bank Limited (VSBL) and 123, 188 unit shares of Civil Bank Limited (CBL) were traded most today. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 68.73 crore where more than 10.22 lakh units’ shares were traded through 4,517 transactions. Sensitive and float index went down by 5.95 and 2.17 points respectively. All trading groups landed in red. Insurance sector dipped by 158.86 points.
