Bank of Kathmandu Proposes 20.95% Dividend Worth Rs. 2.22 Arba; 6% Bonus and 14.95% Cash Dividend

Bank of Kathmandu Limited (BOKL) has proposed a 20.95% dividend for the fiscal year 2078/79.
The 236th meeting of the board of directors held on Ashwin 30 decided to distribute the 20.95% dividend from its paid-up capital. 14.95% cash dividend and 6% bonus shares have been proposed. Thus, the bonus shares are worth Rs. 63.74 Crores and the cash dividend is worth Rs. 1.58 Arba. The cash dividend has been proposed for the tax amount on bonus shares.
The proposal is subject to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and its upcoming 28th Annual General Meeting. BOKL closed at Rs. 227.10 yesterday. The company is in the process of merger with Global IME Bank Limited @ 1:1 swap ratio.
