Bank of Kathmandu postpones 21st AGM until further notice; Book Closure for dividends remains unchanged

Bank of Kathmandu (BOK) has postponed its 21st Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled for Magh 24, 2072. The AGM has been postponed until further notice.

BOK has not provided any reason for the postponing its AGM.

The BoD of BOK has proposed 26% stock dividend and 1.368% cash dividend which is subject to approval from its AGM. The book closure dates for these dividends is from Magh 04 to Magh 24, 2072. Although AGM has been postponed, the book closure date will remain unchanged. The bank will publish new dates for the AGM in future.

BOK and Lumbini Bank Ltd. (LUBL) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for merger on December 24, 2015. The swap ratio of BOK and LUBL has been set at 100:82.81.

The paid up capital of BOK stands at Rs 2.12 arba. After the issuance of bonus shares it will soar up to Rs 2.67 arba. Similarly, the current paid up capital of LUBL is Rs 2 arba. After the issuance of bonus shares the paid up capital of LUBL will reach Rs 2.30 arba.
