Bank of Kathmandu opens branches in Pyuthan & Dang districts

As a means to provide banking facilities to a larger Nepali mass, Bank of Kathmandu Ltd. inaugurated its two new branches at Bijuwar of Pyuthan District & Bhalubang of Dang District. Hon. Directors of the bank Mr. Santa Bar Sing Thapa inaugurated the branch in Bijuwar and BalaRam Neupane in Bhalubang amidst two different functions today. Bijuwar Branch Opening The bank has taken the policy of expanding its branches throughout the country, especially focusing in the rural and agriculture based areas. The bank is actively working towards introducing newer services for newly opened branches mainly customized facility of convenient farming loan-“Sajilo Khetipaati Karja” to all farmers of that area .The Bank will be opening additional branches in rural sectors to serve the community residing in those areas. This initiative is part of the Bank’s partnership with Sakchyam- Access to Finance program- to open new branch offices in rural and semi-urban market segments. Sakchyam is an access to finance initiative funded by UK Aid. The newly opened branches in Bijuwar and Bhalubang will provide services of deposit, loan, remittance and several other facilities offered by the Bank. After the inauguration of these two branches, bank will be providing services to its customers from 56 branches, 57 ATM locations and 7 extension counters.
