Bank of Kathmandu Lumbini reports 82% rise in net profit; EPS at Rs 21.37

Bank of Kathmandu Lumbini Limited (BOKL) has posted an 82.70% increase in its net profit in the second quarter of the current FY 2073/74. As per the unaudited financial statement for Q2 published today, it has made a net profit of Rs 60.14 crore till the end of Q2 of the ongoing fiscal year. Its net interest income has also increased by almost 88% to Rs 1.30 arba, up from Rs 69.71 crore in the same quarter last year. It has a deposit of Rs 70 arba and has floated loans of Rs 62.78 arba by the end of the second quarter, up 67.42% and 94.47% from the figures posted in the second quarter of the last FY 2072/73. Its CD ratio stands at 78.97%. Its NPL has also reduced from 3.93% to 1.51%. Its EPS stands at Rs 21.37, net worth at Rs 148.90 per share, and P/E ratio at 28.74 times. Major Highlights:
