Bank of Kathmandu expands to 79 branches; inaugurates 2 branches at Sundarbazar and Budhabare

Bank of Kathmandu Limited has formally inaugurated two branches at Sundarbazar and Budhabare, its 78th and 79th branch, with a view to provide a complete banking service in those Regions.
Issuing the press statement, the commercial bank informed that its Sundarbazar Branch was inaugurated amidst a function by bank’s BOD Mr. Madan Lal Joshi, President of Lamjung Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Rajesh Thapa and Mayor of Sundarbazar Municipality, Mr Janak Raj Mishra.
Similarly, Budhabare Branch was jointly inaugurated by bank’s BOD Mr. Sanjay Bahadur Shah, Chief of Buddhisanti Gaupalika, Mr. Ramesh Bhujel and Chairman of Nepal Udhyog Banijya Sangh, Mr. Rudra Chapagaai. Senior officials of the bank, customers and other stakeholders were also present during the event.
With 79 branches, 67 ATMs, 8 extension counters & 17 branchless banking touch points; BOK has been offering a full range of banking services. As at the end of 2nd quarter of FY 2074/75, the bank has been able to mobilize total deposit of Rs 70.43 arba and total loan of Rs 64.66 arba.
