Baluwatar Committee to Host Second Interbank Futsal Tournament on Constitution Day

The Baluwatar Committee, a staff organization within Nepal Rastra Bank, is set to host the second Interbank Futsal Tournament from Ashwin 3 to 5, 2081, in celebration of Constitution Day.

The tournament will feature 60 teams—23 women's and 37 men's—comprising employees from "A," "B," and "C" category banks and financial institutions. Prabhu Bank is the main sponsor, with several co-sponsors, including the Agricultural Development Bank and NIC Asia Bank.

Medical support will be provided by Om Hospital, while Bottlers Nepal and ACN Thai Foods will handle beverages, and Rastriya Beema Company will serve as the insurance partner. Matches will take place at Dhanyentari Sports Hall, and participating teams include 19 commercial banks, 10 development banks, and 6 financial companies.

Each winning team will receive Rs. 1 lakh, a trophy, medals, and certificates, while the runners-up will get Rs. 50,000, along with similar accolades. NIC Asia Bank and Global IME Bank will defend their respective titles. The decision to hold the second edition follows the success and positive feedback from the first tournament.
