Arun Valley Hydropower (AHPC) proposes 5.263% Dividend for FY 2076/77: Company to issue 1:0.5 right shares

Arun Valley Hydropower Development Company Limited (AHPC) has proposed a 5.263% dividend for the fiscal year 2076/77.

The meeting of the board of directors held on Mangsir 14 has proposed 5% bonus shares and 0.263% cash dividend (for tax purposes) for the fiscal year 2076/77. The dividend will be distributed after endorsement by the company's 23rd AGM.

Furthermore, the meeting has decided to issue the right shares in the ratio 1:0.5. Note that the right shares will be issued on the paid-up capital maintained after bonus share adjustment. This has to be endorsed by the company's upcoming 23rd AGM.

This is the first phase issue of the 1:1 right shares issue that Arun Valley Hydropower Development Company Limited has already passed via its 21st AGM. This capital will be invested in the Kabeli-B1 Cascade Hydropower Project.
