Apollo Hospitals reduces tariff on Nepali patients by signing MoU with Shangri-La Development Bank

Amid the event organized by Shangri-La Development Bank, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the bank and Apollo hospital. According to the MoU, the Hospital shall provide discount up to 10% in various service offered by the hospital to the customers, shareholders, staff and their beneficiaries of the bank.
The customer of the bank who wish to visit the hospital may take prior appointment from Apollo Information Center in Bhatbhateni, Kathmandu and people outside the valley can call the information center for queries and making appointment. In addition to the discounted services, the hospital shall make arrangement of transport and hotels to the customer who take prior appointment with the hospital.
During the signing ceremony, the CEO of Shangri-La Development Bank, Mr. Rajendra Prasad Paudel said, “This is a wonderful opportunity for our bank to be able to cater our 3 lakhs customers and their families in facilitating there visit at India for medical reasons. This initiative is not only business centered but also a social service.” Similarly, the Managing Director of Apollo Hospitals, Mr. Ashok Bajpai said that the Apollo Hospitals is one of the best hospital in South Asia, trusted by the high-level dignitaries of Nepal and Hospital of first choice among the foreign hospital among Nepalese. He expressed his gratitude to the Bank for becoming its healthcare partner of Nepal.
