Api Power signs PPA for 8MW Upper Naugarh Gad Hydropower Project

Api Power Company Limited (API) has signed Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) for 8 MW Upper Naugarh Gad Small Hydropower Project. The agreement was signed on Kartik 12, 2073. Upper Naugarh Gad Small Hydropower Project site is at Darchula, Nepal. The hydropower company has already generated 8.5 MW Hydropower Project in the same river a year back. As per an official of Api Power Company, the hydropower project’s construction is aimed to be complete within 15-17 months. The power generated from this project shall be connected to the NEA Balanch Substation at 132 KV side which 7 Km away from the company’s proposed powerhouse. In addition, the company is also doing numerous solar projects this year.
