Annual Audit Commences Across 46 Districts, Led by the Auditor General's Office

The annual audit work conducted by the Auditor General's office has begun in 46 districts in the initial phase.
During this phase, the office plans to carry out audits in the months of Bhadra and Asoj, and accordingly, teams from the Auditor General's office have been deployed to these 46 districts.
The audit encompasses regions in the Himalayan, Hilly, and Terai areas, reflecting a comprehensive assessment of resource acquisition and utilization, along with the outcomes derived from these resources.
To facilitate the audit process, the office encourages the provision of any pertinent information, details, evidence, or supporting documentation. Individuals and entities can share this information directly with the audit team or through email and phone contact.
The Auditor General has initiated the audit for the fiscal year 2079/80, aiming to ensure transparency and accountability in the management of public resources.
