All stakeholders meet finally gives green signal to begin trading in NEPSE; trading to take place for daily 2 hours and  to wrap up with 2% change in NEPSE index

Securities Board of Nepal, following the all-party consultation held on Baisakh 26, 2077, has decided to reopen the trading of shares in NEPSE from Baisakh 30, 2077.

The market regulator has urged all the stakeholders to follow below mentioned conditions while performing trading activities:

*The market will remain open from 11 am to 1 pm

*Trading will be halted for an entire day when the NEPSE index gains or loses by 2%

 *Investors will be allowed to place buy and sell orders with a 1% difference in previous day closing price and another 2% difference while placing buy and sell orders throughout rest of the day

*Electronic payment will be made compulsory for sellers and buyers will be encouraged to make use of electronic payment channels (stock buyers will compulsorily need to shift to electronic payment channel from Shrawan 1)

*All shareholders will need to have compulsory Meroshare account by Asad end so as to promote digital settlement of shares through EDIS system. No charge will be levied on those opting to open Meroshare account within end of Asad

*Customer help desk will be established to address the concerns of investors
